Changes in the Section

At the end of February 2024, Claus-Peter Röh left the Goetheanum after 14 years working first for the Pedagogical and then for the General Anthroposophical Section. He is returning to Germany.

Claus-Peter's work was characterized by great dedication and social and spiritual commitment. The Goetheanum Leadership and members around the world are deeply grateful to him. Constanza Kaliks and Peter Selg (Section leaders) will continue to look after the concerns of the first class within the General Anthroposophical Section, supported by a team that now includes Andrea de la Cruz and Nicolas Criblez as well as Andrea Keim and is responsible for worldwide correspondence, among other things (hochschule@goetheanum.ch). Through an administrative reorganization, we hope to be able to process applications for membership in the School of Spiritual Science more swiftly once the documents have been received by the class holders. We are pleased to announce that from Easter onwards the twice-yearly newsletter for members of the School of Spiritual Science on work results and experiences with the class lessons will be published in four languages (German, English, Spanish and Italian). We hope for more translations in the future! (Subscription via schoolmembership@goetheanum.ch).

Deepening class lesson motifs

The Goetheanum Leadership is busy preparing the next class holders’ and class conference due to take place at Michaelmas with focus on the September lessons and Rudolf Steiner’s ‘final address’. In addition, the leadership of the General Anthroposophical Section is preparing deepening seminars on the motifs of the nineteen class lessons. These seminars will be held in many places – a hundred years after the beginning of the course.
