Work Contexts

The General Anthroposophical Section is grounded at the Goetheanum, where its immediate work takes place in different departments. It also collaborates with external institutions which work out of General Anthroposophy in their respective fields of activity.

Goetheanum

Studies and Further Education

Goetheanum Studium is a department of the General Anthroposophical Section, which offers different courses on Anthroposophy in general, including a year long course on Campus, as well as other programms. To know more about the different courses please click on the button below.

Ita Wegman Institut

The Ita Wegman Institute in Ita Wegman's wooden house on the grounds of the Arlesheim Clinic holds the estate of Ita Wegman (1876-1943, Ita Wegman Archive) and the estates of her collaborators. The Institute is working on studies on the development of Rudolf Steiner's work, the history and development of the Anthroposophical Society and the School of Spiritual Science as well as on the ideational and intentional foundations of anthroposophical life practice in various disciplines.

House Maryon

The General Anthroposophical Section has its secretariat, library and study rooms in Edith Maryon's floor in the first eurythmy house on the Goetheanum campus. Small events, philosophical colloquia and Livestreamed lectures in English also take place here. The memorial room of Edith Maryon (1872-1924), a central collaborator of Rudolf Steiner, is also located on this floor and is open to the public during guided tours of the Goetheanum.

International Training Forum (ITF)

The ITF represents Professional Biography Trainings through working collaboration with the School of Spiritual Science at the Goetheanum within the General Anthroposophical Section, Dornach, Switzerland; where the ITF annual meetings are generally held, or otherwise at the venue of the biennial Worldwide Biography Conference WBC.
